Parents question their daughter’s mysterious death in Iraq
A year and a half ago, a 19-year-old Florissant woman became the first female from Missouri to die during the Iraq war.
The military was quick to point out that her death was not combat related.

I’ve been watching this case closely from the start as I live nearby. There is something being covered up. Bit by bit information leaks out. It’s not fair to the family that the military is holding back when the truth will come out eventually.
Rape in our new volunteer Army is something the Pentagon does not want to deal with, but murder is something that has to be prosecuted. Pfc. Johnson left behind a small child. Someone in the Pentagon is protecting its image instead of the well being of a veteran’s child.
There is strong support for the family within the community and with the local media. This injustice will not be ignored.
