I have endured a lot of smear and hatred since Casey was killed and especially since I became the so-called “Face” of the American anti-war movement. Especially since I renounced any tie I have remaining with the Democratic Party, I have been further trashed on such “liberal blogs” as the Democratic Underground. Being called an “attention whore” and being told “good riddance” are some of the more milder rebukes.

You lost to the Big Machines. Everything you said in your letter is right on. The Democratic party has failed all America by it’s refusal to do what they said they would do and do …END THE WAR….all for the sake of who will be elected in 2008. They have now clearly put themselves in the very same mold as the Republican party….they are no different.
I used to think Ralph Nader was a nut for wanting to be president, but now I really believe it’s people like him who will one day break up the Republican/Democratic self-centered monopolies that are more concerned with being elected and power than what is really best for the citizens of the USA.
Hopefully this breakthrough will come before the USA is ruled by a dictator…but then again isn’t that already the case.
For everything there is a season.
A time to reach,
and a time to withdraw.
But seasons do change.
