What began as a joyous primary season has turned into a nightmare of bitterness and invective, promulgated largely by Senator Clinton and her campaign.
Sadly, her campaign has become less of a pursuit of “solutions” than a mission to destroy her opponent, no matter what the cost to herself or to the Democratic Party. She’s redefined the term ambitious to mean “eagerly disingenuous, destructive, calculating, avaricious, dismissive and arrogant in the pursuit of achieving or obtaining success, power, wealth, a specific goal, etc.”
It’s time that either she gracefully step aside, or that party leaders escort her off the stage. She’s become a parody of a bad vaudeville act, and someone needs to give her the hook.
"You are not your bank account. You are not the clothes you wear. You are not the contents of your wallet. You are not your bowel cancer. You are not your grande latte. You are not the car you drive. You are not your fucking khakis… I say, let me never be complete. I say, may I never be content. I say, deliver me from Swedish furniture. I say, deliver me from clever art. I say, deliver me from clear skin and perfect teeth… I say, evolve, and let the chips fall where they may." ~Chuck Palahniuk
