I disagree with this, since the majority of the world’s population are religious…and thus believe in the existence of an ultimate evil…of Satan. That being the case, it hasn’t been much of a trick if that was the devil’s intention.

No, the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince the world that he and his fallen angels (demons) are spiritual entities residing in some other far off dimension from where they endeavour to whisper into the minds and hearts of men in an effort to corrupt them into doing evil things.

The devil and his demons have managed alot more than that. They have become flesh incarnate on this Earth. This is what the Bible is referring to in Genesis when the Serpent (satan) enters the Garden of Eden and tempts (rapes) Eve, who then gives birth to Cain as a result.

Cain (the first murderer…like father like son) was consequently cursed with a mark for killing his brother Abel. The devil is just as much flesh and blood as you and I, and he is many. His blood flows through the veins of his filthy and immoral offspring, and they continue to do him proud.

It is usually a mistake to believe that your opposition is motivated only by moronic evil; it is ALWAYS self-righteous. Hubris causes more harm to the human brain than can bullets.

Or maybe I’m wrong to not assume moronic evil-intent, and all those protesters (including the black ones) would prefer their children starve than see a black man in the Oval Office. After all, they disagree, so it logically follows that they eat puppies and laugh at cripples.
