  1. Don’t worry, Colonel; in another forty years you won’t be on the ground anymore, wondering “WTF?”. Your gut will still drop, and that tingling at the base of your skull (or maybe a sharp shock of adrenalin) which may mean the stroke that’s coming to get ya, but you’ll be too old to get down without breaking something. Of course, that may not stop you, but you’ll wish it had.

    And remember, “thanks of a grateful nation”; I mean, don’t most of them seem thankful to you?
